HEROES presented results at the AAIC 2020 virtual conference

The annual Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) is the world's largest forum for the dementia research community. Each year, AAIC convenes the world’s leading basic scientists, clinical researchers, early career investigators, clinicians, students and the care research community to share research discoveries that will lead to methods of prevention and treatment, and improvements in diagnosis for Alzheimer’s disease. In July 23-27 2020, the conference was hosted on a cutting-edge virtual platform. Dean Nizetic’s lab (Partner3) presented its results in that amazing conference with the title “Alzheimer-like pathology in trisomy 21 cerebral organoids amenable to pharmacological inhibition reveals BACE2 as a gene-dose-sensitive AD-suppressor in human brain”.
